This year's Grandparents Day (GRAND EVENT) is on Saturday, September 9th from 9-11am AND Wednesday, September 13th from 5-6pm. The activities will be the same both days. The event will be held in the MPR.

Our sixth grade students took on an exciting challenge! They worked in teams to solve a puzzle with 4 pieces, demonstrating their problem-solving skills.
In a twist of excitement, they were given a 5th piece, and tasked with figuring out how it fits into the puzzle they had already completed. 🤔🧩 This activity mirrors what happens in the world of science when researchers receive new data and need to reevaluate their hypotheses and conclusions.

Exploring Animal Life Cycles with Fourth Graders!
Our amazing fourth-grade students are diving into the world of animal life cycles! They’ve been using an interactive tool to craft the fascinating life cycles of a cassowary and a hummingbird.
Their enthusiasm as they embark on this educational journey was contagious!
Mrs. Dewey’s class has been hard at work, diving into the world of sentence structure! They teamed up in pairs to uncover the difference between complete and incomplete sentences.
It’s amazing to see these young minds at work, learning the fundamentals of language together. Keep up the great work, Mrs. Dewey’s Class!
Mr. Gibson's American History students proposed amendments to the constitution (school handbook) to Mr. Kendrick and Mrs. Schwope to deepen their understanding of how the US Constitution gets amended and work on composing a thorough argument and supporting it with evidence. #BeADragon
Land of Smiles presented to kindergarten, first, and second grade students yesterday. They learned the importance of taking care of their teeth. Students help beat the cavity monster during the show! Be on the lookout for some teeth cleaning supplies in their back packs!
