Mrs. Carlson's anatomy class recently engaged in a hands-on dissection of sheep hearts, a valuable learning experience that allowed them to explore the complexities of the circulatory system firsthand. This dissection project is part of a broader curriculum that aims to provide the students with a deeper understanding of human and animal anatomy, emphasizing the structure and function of vital organs. #BeADragon #DragonsLearn

Update: power has been restored at the school. Thanks, Jay

Update: Evergy has indicated they will be starting repairs directly. This will initiate all power being turned off, as opposed to having sporadic power. Evergy has estimated the repair to take an hour. I'll keep you posted. Thanks, Jay

Dragon Parents: the school is currently experiencing sporadic power outages across the district. I have talked to Evergy, and they have confirmed they are working to make the repairs. I will keep you updated. Thanks!
Jay

Today, our fourth graders and high school food class teamed up to create an incredible Fourth Grade Fest! The high school students supported the younger Dragons every step of the way, helping them prep, mix, and bake all the dishes for a delicious meal. Watching our high school students mentor the fourth graders through the process was a wonderful reminder of our Dragon community.

Mrs. Wilmes' Nutrition Class has been studying different countries and their cuisines. The end of the unit cooking lab was to create a pizza using common foods and spices from each country. The pizzas were served out of a decorated pizza box that represented each country. We would like to thank Jay and Jen Martin from Little Caesars for donating the pizza boxes for this project! #BeADragon
