Today, our fourth graders and high school food class teamed up to create an incredible Fourth Grade Fest! The high school students supported the younger Dragons every step of the way, helping them prep, mix, and bake all the dishes for a delicious meal. Watching our high school students mentor the fourth graders through the process was a wonderful reminder of our Dragon community.

Mrs. Kountz and Mrs. Barnard are GRATEFUL for their school family. Classrooms are focusing on what they are thankful for as we learn about the character trait of gratitude. We can't wait to see how many more feathers we can add to our turkey! Gobble, Gobble!!

Mrs. Wilmes' Nutrition Class has been studying different countries and their cuisines. The end of the unit cooking lab was to create a pizza using common foods and spices from each country. The pizzas were served out of a decorated pizza box that represented each country. We would like to thank Jay and Jen Martin from Little Caesars for donating the pizza boxes for this project! #BeADragon

Today is National Parents as Teachers Day! We cannot help but recognize the incredible role that parents, teachers and caregivers play in shaping the educational journey of their children. National Parents as Teachers Day is a reminder of the vital partnership between parents and teachers in fostering learning, growth, and success. To all the parents who act as their child’s first teacher, providing guidance, encouragement, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning, thank you! Your unwavering support and dedication help build the strong, confident, and curious individuals who will shape the future. 💫📚 Let's also recognize the incredible PAT Leader in our district, who works alongside parents to create a nurturing and empowering environment for every child. Mrs. Heather Sandlin has been nothing less than miraculous in building our program back up. In her year within our district, she has provided services to the 4 families we were serving, and bringing educational partnerships to another 30. We cannot express enough gratitude for her dedication to this program and our district. If you are in need of PAT program support, please contact the school. #BuildingBetterDragons
